Innovate in the Workplace - Learning Only

This Skill Pod describes the skills and knowledge required to develop and manage a project which takes an innovative problem solving approach to improving an area of business performance. As well as the Project Management activity it also covers the development and delivery of a presentation to management reporting on the findings and recommendations of the project activity.

The Innovate in the Workplace Skill Pod aims to develop the skills and knowledge required to:

• Undertake a minor project or a section of a larger project covering developing a project plan, administering and monitoring the project, finalising the project and reviewing the project to identify lessons learned for future projects.
• Use structured process improvement tools to solve process and other problems, applying in-depth and rigorous structured problem-solving techniques to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare, deliver and review presentations for target audiences.

Options

You have the following choices:

• Complete this stand-alone skill pod as professional development ($290)
• Complete the stand-alone assessment only and receive a statement of attainment ($450)
• Complete stand-alone version of this skill pod and associated assessment and receive a statement of attainment ($740)
• Complete the full qualification by completing all required skill pods and associated assessments

​You also have the option to complete assessment tasks and receive a Nationally Recognised statement of attainment for the units of competencies; BSBPMG430 Undertake project work, MSMSUP390 Use structured problem-solving tools and BSBCMM411 Make presentations.

. You can choose to:

• enrol in the Learning and Assessment version now, getting access to both learning content and assessment tasks straight away
• complete the Learning only version now and come back and enrol in the Assessment only version at a later date

If you have extensive experience in the industry and believe you do not need to undertake any further training you can choose the Assessment only version and get access to the assessment tasks straight away, without needing to complete the learning activities.
